Time Management In High School

Hi John,

I read that in high school you practiced at least 6 hours a day. I'm sure you probably played less on some days but that's still a huge amount of time. How did you manage to keep your grades up while playing so much guitar?

I'd want to go to sleep after playing that much and not even think about studying so I'm wondering how the John Man can do this.

I would always break up my practice sessions throughout the day, leaving plenty of time to eat, sleep and study. :-D
