Default Goodbye EBMM... Hello Bo El

Well as many of you may know I LOVED my EBMM JPM's having up to 13 at once, but after having an issue with the ONE year warranty they offer and not receiving help from them due to warranty being out, I decided to start looking for another guitar. Well I found it. It is a Bo-El MC-6 Handmade in Holland , http://www.huubboel.nl/ . The guitar is truly amazing. It also has a push-pull pot to take the Humbuckers out of Phase, and an On/Off Switch. I told Marcel Coenen he needs to make a video explaining why since it his signature guitar. It was cool seeing him use the switch though. Here are a few pictures. Guitar with Hardshell case about $1300.00 or 1000.- Euros. And the guitar is backed by a LIFETIME Warranty.

I must admit that I have never tried a Bo-El, but it shure looks like it could kick all kinds of '80's ass in that purple/pink see-through finish

How do you like the PUs on the thing - they are made in-house, right?

Congrats on your new guitar, now SHRED!!!

Cheers

Eske

The color looks allot better in person. The guitar is very flexiable in what playing styles you want. I mean from Heavy, Progressive in your face Rock to beautiful Jazz to awesome clean tones. The Pick Ups are in House and are the heart of the guitar. Truly an amazing guitar. Huub Boel was a great guy to deal with as was Marcel. Hell he set up my guitar and gave me a lesson of my choice of topics and a free Beer OH Life is good!!!!!!!

You make it sound like EB screwed you over and now you're thumbing your nose at them and there product. Now, I don't know what your issue is with them or their products because you didn't state them, but I can safely say that I've seen nothing but the highest level of customer service from them to the point of bending over backwards for their customers by paying out of pocket to rectify a problem and dismissing the one year warranty window if a problem is a product malfunction. I'm happy that you have a new guitar (it doesn't even look like it's at the same level as most Ibanez Rg's, but that's my opinion) and it does what you want and really that's all that needed to be said, the EB content makes the whole thing sound like a bitter rant and Ernie Ball is the target.

If I was here to target EB I would have stated the problem and would have bashed EB. EB's are quality instruments. Just as some people believe Ibanez is a better guitar or Carvin or PRS. I owned 13 EBMM JPM's. As for them bending over backwards for you ,you would think they would do the same for everyone. But I as a faithful customer was not treated the way I felt I should have been though I know they have treated others differantly. My issue was a "Known" product malfunction. So I have found out because I have looked elsewhere that there are other quality instruments that are handmade out there and I am sharing it with members of this forum. I also have another EBMM JPM on order due to be finished in July.

I dig the colors. The headstock ain't my thing though, a guitar like that should have a bit longer, pointier headstock if you ask me.
